3d Landscape Design
We are excited to offer 3 dimensional computerized design! It can be hard to visualize what the final project will look like when all you have to base it off of is a blueprint.
With 3D landscape design, you can see your project accurately from any angle you wish and you will be able to do a virtual "walk-through" around the design.
Our goal is to work with you to develop a landscape that is both aesthetically pleasing but also functional. The 3D landscape design is offered as a complimentary service for all customers who wish to have their landscape installed by us.
We will also offer design services to people who wish to do the installation themselves. However, if you are interested in our 3D landscape design services, but wish to do the install yourself, then we will give you an estimate of the design cost prior to creating the design.

Each landscape bed is unique. It's important to have a functional design. At Supreme Green Lawn & Landscape, we design beds that incorporate the right plants in the right spots and for the right season, insuring that something is always in bloom.
We want to make sure they will be healthy and can thrive with minimum inputs. However, in some situations, maintenance is needed. Your landscape beds may need periodic pruning, fertilizing, mulching, and watering.
We can educate and discuss the maintenance needs with you prior to installation. We can also design the beds accordingly to the level of maintenance you would like to provide. In addition, as your comprehensive provider, we offer complete landscape maintenance services to assist you with these different maintenance needs if desired.

We install low voltage LED systems to provide limited power usage and long lasting performance. Most lighting systems can be installed with little to no impact to your existing landscape.

A great lawn starts with proper turf establishment. At Supreme Green Lawn & Landscape we know what it takes to create a healthy lawn.
The first step is to establish grades that are smooth and that allow for proper water drainage.
Once the grading is done we use two main practices to establish turf- seeding and sodding. Which one you choose will depend on many variables, such as time of year, site conditions, budget, and watering capabilities.
We also offer different types of seed bed mulching to help keep seed warm, moist, and in place. We have the knowledge and experience to make sure your project will be done correctly.
You will experience great results! Each establishment job is different so please make the right choice and trust in us for your next establishment project.

Supreme Green Lawn & Landscapes' applications are all made by licensed applicators who have undergone education in turf-grass management. We stay up to date on the ever changing issues with turf.
The products we apply are some of the best in the industry (many are golf course grade products)! We also use granular slow release fertilizers with all of our applications.
In addition to the granular fertilizer, we use liquid herbicide simultaneously for our 2nd and 4th applications to insure the best weed control and fertility possible.
With our high tech equipment, we can spray liquid herbicide and still put down granular, slow release fertilizer giving you the best of both worlds!

Core Aeration
Each fall, we recommend core aeration. Core aeration is a great way to enhance the health of your lawn. Core aeration is a type of cultivation that works to relieve compaction, improve drainage, and reduce thatch.
When we aerate a lawn, we use a spoon type aerator that pulls a plug around 3-4 inches deep. These plugs are left on the surface to dissipate and return to the soil. The hole created essentially increases root growth, and relieves compaction from mowing which results in healthier overall turf. Contact us today for a free quote on core aeration.
Over Seeding
A great way to improve your lawn, is to over seed. As your lawn ages, the varieties of turf become outdated and can become more susceptible to disease, and show poor response to drought, traffic, and shade.
Seed companies spend tremendous amounts of money to continually improve their seed varieties to enhance their ability to withstand disease pressure, traffic, compaction, drought, shade, etc.
At Supreme Green Lawn & Landscape, we utilize some of the best seed varieties in the industry. We use high tech equipment to drill the seed into the lawn, which will greatly improve seed germination without disturbing your existing turf.
This system can be used to seed new lawns, fix bare spots with little to no prep-work, or to simply over seed existing turf. It's also beneficial to note that if you over seed directly after an aeration, you can expect even greater germination rates!

Spring and Fall Leaf Clean-up:
We have a wide range of equipment to take care of your clean-up quickly and neatly. Our assortment of leaf blowing and collection equipment make large clean-up jobs quick and efficient. Our vacuum truck allows us to pick up and haul away large quantities of leaves and other small debris quickly.
When leaves are piled by the curb for city pick up, you run the risk of the wind blowing them right back onto your property before they can be collected, that is why at supreme green we have our own vacuum truck to take care of those piles right away!
Storm Clean-up:
Eastern Iowa wind storms can make a big mess. You could be left with piles of sticks and leaves or have several large trees down. Supreme Green Lawn & Landscape can take care of the storm clean-up for you.
Our assortment of chainsaws, skid loaders and dump trucks, allow us to remove the debris quickly and neatly.

Mulching is a great way to spruce up your property and help your landscape function better at the same time. Adding a light layer every year will help to suppress weeds, hold moisture, and maintain aesthetic appeal. This is usually done in the spring so you can enjoy the fresh color of the new mulch all summer long.
There are several different kinds of mulch to choose from, from natural hardwood mulches to artificially colored hardwood mulches.
We also offer bulk mulch delivery to your residence if you prefer to spread it yourself. This is generally cheaper than purchasing bagged mulch.

Pruning is one of the most important tasks to upkeep your landscape. In order to keep your beds healthy and looking vibrant for the maximum amount of time, it is important to keep up with the necessary pruning and shearing.
For most properties we care for, bi-annual visits seems to work best. Normally, we come in early summer after things are done blooming and shape things up, then another visit in the fall to do more shaping and to cut back perennials before winter.
We also offer complete landscape maintenance contracts that include all necessary trimming, mulching, edging, weeding, and any other maintenance activities your landscape might need.

One unique service we provide is our low impact tree pruning and removal. If you have a larger tree that needs to be pruned or removed, but you do not want to destroy your lawn in the process, we can help! Many companies use large boom trucks for this type of work, but this will inevitably leave ruts that can be expensive and unsightly to repair. We utilize a tow-able lift to get into the tree and do the necessary work. This device is pulled with a small pickup and has very little impact on your lawn. Be sure to contact us for any tree removal services. We may be able to help you preserve the landscape you have worked so hard to build and maintain.

Arborjet® Tree Injection
The Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) is an invasive pest that will kill any untreated ash trees.
The Emerald Ash Borer outbreak has homeowners wondering what to do with their trees. Do I remove and replace, treat or ignore the problem all together? If you remove the tree or ignore the problem, you end up with the same result...NO trees. If you treat the problem you end up with a healthy tree that will be on your property and increase your home’s value for years to come.
• Unlike spraying or soil drenching which put chemicals in the air and ground, Arborjet’s injection puts all product inside the tree during application.
• Arborjet has up to 2 years proven control of EAB.
• No other injection method has the proven results against EAB like Arborjet does.
SYMPTOMS OF EAB:
• Dieback in tree canopy
• New sprouts forming from the tree’s base
• “D” shaped exit holes
• Woodpecker damage
A) The larvae live under the bark of the tree, feeding on the vascular cambium.
B) The larval feeding leaves ‘galleries’ under the bark that interrupt nutrient flow to the canopy and eventually kill the tree.
C) The adult is a small, metallic green beetle only 10-15 mm in
length. The adults typically emerge around June, leaving
D-shaped exit holes in the bark. The adults feed briefly in the tree canopy before reproducing and laying eggs in the twigs and branches.
D) The larvae will start feeding in the branches at the top of the tree and work their way down. The first symptom in an infested tree is dieback in the tree canopy.

We stock most landscape materials including topsoil, colored mulch, river rock, boulders, edging, retaining wall block, pavers, gravel, sand, landscape fabrics, straw blanket, tile & fittings, irrigation repair materials, shrubs, perennials and many other products as well. If we don’t have what you need on hand we can usually source it in just a day or 2.
We also offer delivery of all products. With a wide variety of trucks and trailers, we can deliver to you any material in any quantity for your next project.
